Nowadays we all are addicted to the online video streaming platforms. Many times it happens that we are going on a trip and there is no internet then many of us have already downloaded a movies, video for a trip but what  will you do if they will not play when you want to watch them. If you have a MOV Video Files so you need a specific video player to watch it, and it is not preinstalled in windows 10.

Many videos and movies are saved in your hard disk in .mov format. You can identify this type of files very easily as they have .mov extension on the file name. We can play mov files using windows media player.

• press your window button then search the windows media player in the window search box then open it.

• if you have version 12 then you are able to play mov files using windows media player, if not then you have to update your window media player.

• Now type on the search box Window media player.

Step 5: Now right click on the movie or video which you want to watch then tap on the play.

And you can open your video in another method as well you can simply right click on the movie or video from your computer and then click on the “Open With” after then tap on the “Window Media Player”.

How to Play Mov files using VLC Media player

The Vlc media player supports the mov files and can play the movies and video very smothly in windows 10.

• Firstly download the Vlc media player and then install it.
• Now open your Vlc media player and tap on ‘Media’ from the top bar.
• click open file and pick your mov files. Or you can open your video in another method as well you can simply right click on the movie or video from your computer and then click on the “Open With” after then tap on the “VLC Media Player”.
